"Going Barefoot Event:

Everywhere we go there is objectionable sound or sounds that we are introduce to. Some are loud, harsh to our ears. Others are an interference in a ecological or electronic system. These are sounds in our environment that adversely affects us in our hearing, it is an distraction in the work place, at home and in our cars. Even while we are sleep there are many things that causes us to be distracted or wake us up out of our sleep. "Talking about a true awaken!

Noises pollution invades us in all walks of life rich or poor, day or night, in school zones or the hospital quiet zones. Noise pollution or sound pollution is everywhere across the four corners of our global world.

What can we do to reduce the noise levels? It as simple as removing your shoes.If 80,000 people remove there shoes for one hour. This one hour can lower our noise pollution footprint on our planet we call earth.

There is an event that will be introduce on April 8th, 2010 as a 'BAREFOOT EVENT" or "GO ONE DAY WITHOUT SHOES" If you are reading the article, please take a moment to remove your shoes for a few minutes or as long as you possible can. Removing your shoes brings awareness of what TOM's Shoes is all about.

TOM"s Shoes are creating awareness about the fact that so many people all over the world live without adequate footwear and that many go without shoes altogether. So join us in the movement to create awareness about this issue that can be so easily solved or rooted up

This invitation is like announcement to one more member of this world who wears shoes daily. It's a way to educate and help them learn more about the reason why this issue is so important and how to get more involved in the movement to rid the world of the physical and social side effects that come from living without shoes.
