Power of Citrus Fruits. Part 2:

Daily use of any type of citrus fruits can do wonders and miracles for you and your body parts from within. There is a position of the inside that we trend to throw away. When we are eating an orange, lime, lemon, grapefruit, kumquat, and tangerines.

The white position of any citrus fruits is the tissue. It is found in the juice, it is found in the pulp and in the skin. That white position is known as the flavonoids. The flavonoids are more beneficial to your health, because they work to protect the cells in your body from oxidative.

“Oxidative damage has been implicated in the cause of many diseases such as cancer and Alzheimer's and has an impact on the body's aging process.

External factors such as pollution, sunlight and smoking also trigger the production of free radicals. Your body constantly reacts with oxygen as you breathe and your cells produce energy. As a consequence of this activity, highly reactive molecules are produced known as free radicals.

Free radicals interact with other molecules within cells. This can cause oxidative damage to proteins, membranes and genes.”

Of course this takes on a whole new meaning of eating the entire (whole) citrus fruits. Eating the entire orange for example, starting with the outer position and then eating the juicy inside position will help your body fight vigorously against the diseases such as cancer, Alzheimer and the aging process.

Citrus Fruits added to your healthy choices of food is a must. Yet we have not found all the benefits that comes with eating the entire (whole) citrus fruits. However, this should be enough education for all of us to rush out and add more citrus fruits to our lunch boxes, our noon day, break and our family meals. We do want to live a healthier life?
